Rope Rescue

Picture
This is an “On-The-Mountain” Test and expect to answer questions while riding or sitting on a lift and observing mountain terrain.

There are three major parts of the test:
  1. Public Lift Evacuation
  2. Self Evacuation
  3. Low Angle Rescue

You must be able to perform these skills while talking and tying knots. Work with your Patrol Director for self evacuation training with a partner for the public lift evacuation and low angle rescue training.

For additional details on testing and criteria, download the document to the right.
