Mid-Winter Clinic - Southern California ResortsThis last Mid-Winter Clinic is March 23rd through the 25th, in the San Bernardino National Forest in Southern California. The clinic will be held on Friday March 23rd at Snow Valley, and will include educational clinics only - no testing. Saturday the 24th will be held at Snow Summit with written and practical tests conducted. Saturday night APP will host a social/BBQ at Scott Hoffman's house and Sunday the 25th will end the series of clinics at Bear Mountain.
All written tests will be available and ready for candidates to take on Saturday and Sunday. Practical tests that will be available, include: Hill Safety, Medical, Risk Management and Rope Rescue.
Additional practical tests may be available depending upon judge availability and need: Avalanche Rescue, Avalanche Science, Ski/Snowboard/Telemarking and Toboggans.
