This is an “On-The-Mountain” test and you should anticipate to be answering questions while riding lifts and observing mountain terrain.

This test format, in most situations at most ski areas, will offer the opportunity to evaluate candidates with a top to bottom toboggan run, simulating a real rescue that patrollers would perform as part of their duties.  For this reason the details on criteria will also include specifics on the testing criteria.  Refer to the document to the right.
